TOP-Energy at ENLIT Europe in Paris

TOP-Energy is proud to present its innovative software for energy system analysis, simulation, and optimization at Enlit Europe 2023 in Paris.

The TOP-Energy team presents its software of the same name at Enlit Europe 2023 in Paris. The modeling tool makes it possible to map sector-coupled supply concepts from an energy, ecological and economic perspective. The calculation takes into account volatile generation profiles of renewable energy sources, load profiles and load curves of consumers, and complex tariff structures. The possibilities offered by TOP-Energy are manifold: They range, among other things, from the efficient use of energy storage systems for the intermediate storage of solar power to the reduction of peak loads and the provision of control power.

Our experts, Jan Kurowski and Stefan Kirschbaum, will present the advanced TOP-Energy software at the trade show. This software enables utilities and plant operators to quickly and easily create digital twins of their power generation plants. Based on historical time series data of processes and electricity markets, the status quo is first mapped. The optimization kernel now makes it possible to calculate the minimum-cost or most CO2-efficient modes of operation.These insights are used to optimize future operations.

In addition, well-founded investment decisions can be made on the basis of scenario analyses, both for current structural improvements and for transformation projects. Regular comparisons with current developments keep users on the right course.
