The new TOP-Energy version 3.3.0 is available now

With the new update to version 3.3.0, we are expanding our software for energy system optimization. Almost 20 new components and a large number of innovative features are available, giving you a range of new functions. In addition, shortcuts and simplified operation ensure an even better user experience.

One highlight of the update is the new component group for heating, ventilation, and air conditioning. This comprises eight components for modeling the air supply, including ventilators, cooling batteries, and heating batteries. In addition, the expanded component library offers the power-to-liquid technology, a power converter, and seven new control components, which increase flexibility and scalability in energy systems.

Another highlight, especially for users who have already worked with TOP-Energy 2.11, is the reactivated “global/local” feature. This allows parameter changes to be transferred to all components of the same name in the entire project with a single click. There are also improvements to the tabular input for transformation paths: Users can now store time series in addition to constant values in order to implement dynamic adjustments in their projects.

You can find a detailed overview of the new components and features on our online documentation page. We would also like to invite you to our online webinar on November 15, 2024 at 1 p.m., in which we will present the new functions and components live in the software.
